Editorial Standards
FreeFitDiet exists to answer practical kitchen questions — can you freeze it, how do you reheat it, what can you substitute — with advice you can act on mid-recipe. Here is how we hold ourselves to that.
Kitchen-tested, not aggregated
Our guides describe methods we have actually run in a home kitchen: real timings, real texture changes, real failures. Where a method didn't work, we say so rather than rounding it up to “works fine”.
Updates
Kitchen methods age well; food-safety guidance changes. We revisit guides when storage or safety recommendations move, and each article shows the date it was last meaningfully updated.
Food safety
We describe what worked for us, but home kitchens vary. For anything safety-critical — storage times, temperatures, allergens — check current guidance from your local food-safety authority. See our disclaimer.
Corrections
If a guide is wrong — a timing, a method, a safety claim — we want to fix it. Use the contact page and we'll review it against a fresh test.
Advertising
FreeFitDiet is supported by display advertising. Ads never influence what we recommend, and we mark ad placements clearly. We don't publish sponsored content presented as testing.
